Itzhak Shoher, D.M.D, M.S.

Dr. Itzhak Shoher is a 1967 graduate of Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. He completed his prosthodontics studies at Tufts University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1971. He also completed his master's studies at the same time with a Thesis entitled "Stress Analysis in Ceramo-Metal Restorations". His most prominent areas of interest and research have been with ceramo-metal stress analysis and biocompatibility issues. He has over 37 U.S. patents in the field of restorative dentistry. In addition to being President of Precious Chemicals, Ltd. - an international company, and carrying on research in both Israel and the U.S., he has maintained a private prosthodontics practice in Tel Aviv since 1972. He still finds time to lecture and teach on an international level.
Dr. Shoher is an active member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the Israel Society of Oral Rehabilitation and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Among the many meetings he has presented at are the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. He has published in the Journal of Prosthetics Dentistry, Dental Clinics of North America and Quintessence of Dental Technology, to name a few.
